Bryton's Blessing

On December 6th we blessed Bryton. Trevor gave him such an amazing blessing! I absolutely love having my kids blessed. It gives me such a reassuring feeling. I love the gospel and the peace and comfort that it gives to me. I have said this so many times, but I am so thankful for Bryton. He is a healthy, happy baby! He is smiling at us now and it just melts my heart every time I see it. He didn't really know much about what we were all gathering for but during his blessing he didn't make a peep. We had a great luncheon at our clubhouse and was able to spend time with everyone that came. Thanks so much to everyone that came to show support and the other Priesthood holders that were able to stand in Bryton's circle. We sure have great families that are always there for us! It was such an amazing day!

Our Family of FOUR!!

All my boys in their matching ties and Bryton in his adorable tux!

SO MUCH FUN!!

Grandpa and Grandma Hicks and their grandkids! Peyton didn't want to get on the couch with the others and so Derek is behind the couch holding him up but trying to stay out of the picture....very entertaining.

Grandpa and Grandma Bradshaw with some of their grandkids! We were a little too late in taking this picture to get them all.

I swear that Kolten has me laughing hysterically almost daily. He brings so much fun and joy into our home. I can't imagine life without this little ball of joy! He has really been into learning songs and singing for the last couple of months. We read books and sing songs with him every night and since we only know so many songs, he picks up on them very well. He knows quite a few word for word and loves to perform for anyone whoe will listen. He thinks that it is the neatest thing when he hears songs that he knows being sung on the radio or at church. Here he is singing Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire and ABC's. It is really hard to get him to sing into the camera and stay focused so bear with us that he is all over the place.

Isn't that so cute?!?! I just love it!

I have added a whole bunch of new posts so scroll down and check them out!

Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog tails!

So I never figured that I would be this far outnumbered in the house. I always pictured myself with a couple of little girls in cute dresses, hair all done up nice, and dancing around! Now that I have three boys, I wouldn't trade it for a thing! I absolutely love my boys! I will just have to learn to deal with dirt, hats, bodily noises and everything else that comes along with these guys! Aren't they just the cutest??

A joke with Trevor's family is a thumb sucking one. Kolten never sucked his thumb, while his cousin Kennedie that is the same age did. We figure that a binky is easier to get rid of and so we tease them. This picture is Aunt Kristina trying to teach Bryton that his thumb tastes soooo good! Unfortunately he looks really content! As for now he only sucks his fingers in the bathtub so we will see if Kristina's influence will stick.

It is so easy to just watch babies sleep. Everything about them is such a miracle and it is so amazing to see.

Bryton

Bryton is such a wonderful baby! I can't even imagine our family without him. Although he doesn't do much, he adds so much happiness to our home.
5 Days old!

9 Days old
2 weeks old and not very happy that he is getting his picture taken instead of getting fed.

2 days old and Kolten is just so excited to hold him. Bryton doesn't look very comfortable, but he doesn't seem to mind either. Kolten thought that is was so neat that they were both in their baseball jammies from Grandma Bradshaw!

Trick or Treat

We had such a great Halloween this year! Kolten has been looking forward to dressing up as a rodeo clown since Spanish Forks Fiesta Days Rodeo in July. He loved "Boom Boom Johnson" from the rodeo and even has some of his acts memorized. Bryton didn't really care what was going on, he was in for the ride. We went to my parents ward Trunk or Treat, Spanish Fork's Main street trick or treating, then Salem park's, and then to Grandpa and Grandma Bradshaw's Trunk or Treat. Needless to say, Kolten received enough candy to last until he is 18!

Boom Boom Johnson!
Kolten was telling everyone his special joke
"What kind of dinosaur do you find at the rodeo?...........A Bronchosaurus! "
Our Ferocious Tiger!

I wish that I would have gotten more pictures of these kids! That little Minnie Mouse is my cute neice Kennedie and my nephew Dawson is Captain Hook. Kolten absolutely loves to play with his cousins and so he had a blast spending the whole day with them and so did we!

Kolten's stash of candy. Does anyone know a number to a good dentist??
