We will miss him!

We always have sadness in our hearts when we lose someone that is special to us. We feel this sadness now with the loss of our beloved prophet. We are also joyed that President Hinckley is now with his dear wife once again and what a happy reunion that must have been. We have been so blessed to have him as our prophet during our lives. He has been such a wonderful leader. We love him so much and are so thankful for the prophet, seer and revelator that he was. I would love to have his faith and testimony of this gospel. He devoted his whole life to the church. What a wonderful man. Trevor and I love him and are excited to share his teachings with Kolten.

1st haircut

Well Kolten doesn't have much hair, but the hair that he does have is getting so long. It has been hanging over his ears and down his neck. We can no long put it in a mohawk because it looks silly! So we decided it was haircut time. We were prepared for the worst because I have never been able to hold Kolten down for anything without him fussing and trying to escape, but he actually did fantastic. We were surprised. He just sat there and let the stylist use her scissors and clippers to tame the wildness. As you can see, afterwards, he no longer looks like a baby, he looks like such a little boy!! It is sad. I love to see him get older, but feel like it is happening at lightning speed.

He is being so patient~

WHAT A BIG BOY!!!

Strep Throat GO AWAY!!

Well first off, my little nephew Peyton was placed in the hospital at Primary Children's last night with some respiratory problems. He has been sick for a couple of days, but has been worsening and last night they were unable to keep his oxygen up to an acceptable level. Please keep him in your prayers.
We had a scrapbooking weekend at my parents house last weekend and so far 4 of us have strep throat! YUCK!! Now that I am on antibiotics I am feeling much better, but I can't believe that it spreads so quick! Trevor is saying that he is starting to get a sore throat too. He is trying to be tough and not need any medicine, but I think that today or tomorrow, he will change his mind when he feels crappy enough.
Kolten has become so independent lately. He just wants to crawl around and play! He wants to play with everything that he shouldn't be: outlets, batteries, phones, but not toys! Silly! He just started clapping and now claps about everything. It is so funny. I have now officially weaned him and I think that he is already growing more! He eats like a tank, but he has a long way to go to catch up with all of the other little tykes!

I can't wait for the weekend to get here. With being sick, this week seems to be lasting forever.

Well this is a pic of Kolten and I before I had to go to work one day. He is always SOOO happy! I love it! He is such a good baby. He now has 5 teeth and the 6th is not far behind! He is so much fun!
